Tango CLT exists to make accessible to all the beautiful art of Argentine tango, including the dance, the music, and tango's history and culture.
We offer classes, social dances, and concerts, and we host outstanding guest dancers and musicians who bring their knowledge and artistry to the fast-growing city of Charlotte, NC.
Your New Favorite Night Out
Join us every Wednesday to learn authentic Argentine tango at The Long Room! No partner or experience needed — just show up, meet wonderful people, and discover a dance that will change your Wednesday nights forever. Classes, practica, and hors d'oeuvres included.
New! New Dancer Night with SkillPop!
Every 3rd Wednesday is New Dancer Night: a welcoming, low-pressure intro to tango designed for people who are new to dance! If you are looking for an activity that is social, creative, and mindful all in one, Argentine tango just might be for you!
For this class geared toward the absolute beginner, you do not need a partner (though you are welcome to come with one), and you do not need dance experience. Make new friends, try something new, and add a creative and social outlet to your week!
