Wednesday, November 6 - Tango Wednesday Takeover! Liz & Yannick will teach both the intro lesson and the beginner/intermediate lesson that follows it. They will also DJ this practica and perform! The topic of the beginner/intermediate lesson will be: Intro To The Giro. This will be a great class for beginners but also for more experienced dancers as Liz & Yannick will build on the concepts in this class in the workshops to come. The format will be the same as any Tango Wednesday: Intro lesson @ 7 PM. Beg/Int lesson @ 7:45 PM. Social dancing from 8:45 PM - 11 PM. $20 for class(es) & practica; $15 for practica alone.

Friday, November 8 - Special Workshop & Social Dinner!

• Topic: Adding Dynamics to the Giro & Contra-Giro

• Time: 6:30 PM - 8:00 PM

• Level: Intermediate, though beginners who have taken the Wednesday class will be also most welcome

• Price: $30 or $75 for all three weekend workshops

• Informal social dinner @ Intermezzo (Italian/Serbian food) afterwards!

Saturday, November 9 - Two Special Workshops!

  • Topic: One Sequence, Three Different Ways! Learn to adapt a basic tango sequence to three of the Golden Age tango orchestras!

  • Time: 12:00 PM - 1:30 PM

  • Level: Late Beginner / Intermediate

  • Price: $30 or $75 for all three weekend workshops

• Second Workshop

  • Topic: “Vaivens” for D’Arienzo - Learn a classic tango move that is perfect for rhythmic music!

  • Time: 1:30 - 3:00 PM

  • Level: Late Beginner / Intermediate
